Moots introduces its new Secret Menu program: it’s the same base dish but with a little extra flavor depending on what the chef is feeling that day. Read below for all the details on this new limited edition program…

Moots Secret Menu
There is a reason Moots is the giant in titanium bike building. After 45 years of experience building frames by hand in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Moots bikes are known for their clean details, proven designs, and a ride quality that has earned its reputation one bike at a time. Though the company’s logo is an Alligator named Mr. Moots riding a bicycle, the frame design and branding has never been that eccentric. Instead, the company has relied on an unrelenting ability to make bikes of the highest quality and slow evolution over rushed innovation to build their brand. As such, the majority of their bikes have been finished in understated finishes that let the name on the downtube and the quality of the welds do all of the talking.
But every once in a while, the designers at Moots get the itch to step outside the usual order: try a finish that’s been kicking around in the back of a painter’s mind, pair it with a curated parts kit that’s been rarely configured, and throw a little extra sauce on the standard recipe just to see what happens. This isn’t because the regular menu needs changing, but because sometimes it’s fun to make something a little different.
That’s where the Secret Menu comes in. It gives Moots a place for the ideas that are too good to leave off the plate: a small run, a special finish, a few extra details, all built with the same care, experience, and attention that goes into every Moots. It’s the same Moots DNA with the same Mr. Moots alligator headbadge, but with a little extra seasoning.

Secret Menu Item 001 – Après Dirt Routt CRD
The first release from the Moots Secret Menu starts where a gravel bike usually looks best: after the ride. Après Dirt is a small run of fully painted Routt CRDs inspired by the dust, grit, and road spray that collect on a frame after a good day out. The speckle pattern pulls from the way dirt builds up across the bike, while the front-to-back fade gives the finish that same worn-in, just-back-from-the-ride energy.
Underneath the speckle and fade are two colors pulled from Moots history: blue and citron. Familiar ingredients, mixed a little differently this time, and served on the Routt CRD.
