June 30, 2026 — The expected, again

It’s gotten to be routine.

The National Club Championship, held this year in Virginia Beach, has once again been swept by the W.C. Eagles club side from Spring City, Pa. The club, once again, swept all three age groups.

The U-14 Eagles were able to win gold with a 7-0 result against Texas Pride. Over the course of play, the U-14s outscored their opposition 53-1; the only goal conceded was in the quarterfinal round a week ago in a 6-1 win over IFHCK, a club from Kentucky.

In the U-16 division, the Eagles went unbeaten for the tournament, but they faced considerable resistance from the Next Level club side from Lancaster, Pa., winning 2-1. They would win the final 2-0 over the AGH field hockey team from Greenwich, Conn.

As for the U-19s, this Eagles team also won out yielding a single goal over the entirety of the competition. That goal was only conceded in a 6-1 win over Focus in the championship final. The dominating performance showed in a cumulative score of 41-1.

It’s just another day at the office for the nation’s finest field hockey club.
