The spokesperson of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have gone out at reports that have claimed the cricket board willing to make ‘adjustments’ in the schedule of the Champions Trophy 2025, which includes hosting matches with India in the UAE.
A source close to Sports Tak has claimed that people file anything on the name of sources in order to get some views and that the hybrid model is not being considered by PCB.
“The hybrid model is not under consideration it is documented that is the position that has not changed. People file stories claiming sources X Y Z. People file anything just to get some views. As of now, we haven’t decided anything as far as CT is concerned our stand is as it is,” the source said.
It was earlier reported that the ICC will look for three alternatives for the Champions trophy. Pakistan currently has the hosting rights for Champions Trophy, but the ICC is still considering the possibilities and have even set a three-digit budget for three different models.
