It is one week since India lifted the T20 World Cup but the entire nation is still celebrating. After they came back from West Indies, the entire country welcomed them with open arms. Each and every player gave their best to lift the long-desired trophy after 17 years. Kuldeep Yadav was one of India’s prime bowlers in the tournament. After he reached his hometown, he received a grand welcome by the people. 

Champions’s Grand Welcome:

Team India had an exciting journey throughout the T20 World Cup, showcasing their brilliance and entering the final with an unbeaten streak. They faced South Africa in the final and once again demonstrated their dominance, lifting the World Cup. Following their triumph in the Caribbean Islands, they returned to India on July 4th. In Delhi, they were greeted by ecstatic crowds despite the rain. Subsequently, they met Prime Minister Narendra Modi before heading to Mumbai.

Their schedule was packed as they prepared for a victory parade and a special event at Wankhede Stadium. The parade was a resounding success, with the entire city of Mumbai gathering at Marine Drive to celebrate. The team’s bus was surrounded by enthusiastic supporters. BCCI arranged a special program at Wankhede, where fans filled the gallery. The atmosphere was incredible as the entire team received a prize money check.

Kuldeep Yadav’s Grand Welcome at His Hometown:

Kuldeep Yadav, a key player for the Indian cricket team, took 10 wickets in the exciting T20 World Cup 2024 tournament. After India defeated South Africa by seven runs in the final to clinch the title, Kuldeep returned to his hometown, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. There, he received a hero’s welcome from fans, who celebrated with fireworks, dhols, and music to honor his achievement.

Right After reaching the country, the entire squad met PM Narendra Modi at his residence. While talking about this, he said, “We are very happy. We waited for this for a long time. It feels great to see our people here. It is a great pleasure to bring the World Cup. This is more for our India than for us… It was very nice to meet him.”
