The winning team of the T20 World Cup, led by captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid, would receive Rs 125 crore in prize money, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). According to the article, Dravid’s coaching crew, which consists of bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, fielding coach T Dilip, and batting coach Vikram Rathour, will each receive Rs 2.5 crore.
Three physiotherapists, three throwdown specialists, two masseurs, and strength and conditioning coach Soham Deswal are among the backroom staff who will receive prize money worth Rs 2 crore each.
Rinku Singh, Shubman Gill, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed, the four reserve players selected for the T20 World Cup, along with the five members of the BCCI’s Senior Selection Committee, led by chairman Ajit Agarkar, are reportedly set to receive a whopping Rs 1 crore each.
