A big week of Thanksgiving football continues with a Black Friday special between the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles at 3:30 pm ET in Philadelphia. Both teams lead their respective divisions with 8-3 records, so this is a massive matchup in the NFC.
Let’s dive into my Bears vs. Eagles predictions.
Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles odds
Money line: Bears +270 / Eagles -340
Spread: Bears +7 (-110) / Eagles -7 (-110)
Total: Over 44 (-110) / Under 44 (-110)
Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles best bet #1: Over 44 (-110)
It is true that the Eagles’ offense has been sputtering, but they are too talented to be held in check for too long. We are talking about guys like Saquon Barkley, Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, and DeVonta Smith. Philadelphia’s offensive line is banged up, but Chicago may not be able to take advantage. Even when healthy, the Bears’ pass rush has not been great in 2025 (23 sacks). And they certainly aren’t healthy right now. The visitors do not have a single starting linebacker available for Friday; T.J. Edwards, Ruben Hyppolite II, and Noah Sewell are all sidelined. DE Dominque Robinson and CB Tyrique Stevenson are also on the shelf; CB Jaylon Johnson is questionable.
Chicago should also be able to move the ball — as it has all year long under new head coach and offensive wizard Ben Johnson. He has second-year QB Caleb Williams going in the right direction, and that’s an understatement. The 2024 No. 1 overall pick boasts a 16-to-4 touchdown-to-interception ratio and has also rushed for three TDs. The Bears are No. 6 in the NFL in total offense and No. 8 in scoring.
Chicago Bears vs. Philadelphia Eagles best player prop bet: Saquon Barkley Over 76.5 rushing yards (-114)
There is no denying that Barkley has been underwhelming this season, especially of late. The former Penn State standout has rushed for just one touchdown since Week 4 and he is coming off a 22-yard performance against the Cowboys.
That aside, there is no reason to freak about this relative funk. Barkley has still been productive in 2025 — just not compared to last year. He comes in with 684 rushing yards, 259 receiving yards, and six total TDs. He has gained at least 83 yards on the ground in two of the last four games, including a 150-yard showing against the Giants on October 26. The Bears are No. 28 in the NFL against the run (138.1 yards per game) and No. 30 in yards per rush allowed (5.2). Barkley has been good (by most players’ standards). It’s time for him to return to being great.
