RCB management seemed to have a few clear plans for the IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. They did miss out on some uncapped players. Here, we take a look at the list of three uncapped players RCB targeted but could not sign in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions.
1) Karun Nair
Karun Nair has played for India but in the new rule, he qualifies as an uncapped cricketer. He was one of the targets for RCB.
However, Delhi Capitals hired the cricketer. Considering the lack of bench strength at RCB, Karun would have been good for the team.
2) Priyansh Arya was targeted by RCB in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions
Priyansh Arya is one of the uncapped players RCB targeted but could not sign in the IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. RCB lacks a proper left-hander in the top-order.
Hence, they went hard for the Delhi youngster. However, Punjab Kings also wanted a similar profile for the team. Therefore, RCB lost the bid in the race to sign the cricketer.
3) Shubham Dubey
The all-rounder was one of the players who attended the RCB camp before the auctions. It seems he had impressed the team.
However, Rajasthan Royals wanted to get back the cricketer. Hence, RCB could not sign the talented all-rounder from Vidharba.
