UP Warriorz have strategized their buts in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 auction, as they took Kranti Goud and Arushi Goel at their base price. The franchise also managed to retain important players like their captain Alyssa Healy, Deepti Sharma, and Sophie Ecclestone before the beginning of the mini-auction.
The UP-based franchise also were successful in taking in the service of Australia’s Alana King in order to further strengthen their squad for the 2025 season of the tournament.
Even though they were at the bottom of the table in the previous season, UP Warriorz have performed significantly well. Now as they enter the upcoming season, they will aim to qualify the playoffs and contend for the WPL title at the end.
