Dubai has been confirmed as the venue for all of India’s matches in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, including one semi-final and possibly the final, should India qualify. The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the schedule, highlighting that “Semi-Final 1 if involves India if they qualify, will take place in Dubai. Similar is the case for the Semi-Final 2 – if involves Pakistan, will be played in Lahore.
The final will be played in Lahore unless India qualifies for the final, in which case it will be played in Dubai. Both the semi-finals and the final will have reserve days so that there is flexibility in case of disruptions.
The decision comes as part of a hybrid hosting arrangement between Pakistan and the UAE. Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), finalized the arrangement after discussions with Sheikh Nahyan Al Mubarak, a senior UAE minister and the head of the Emirates Cricket Board. This hybrid model ensures equality, with Pakistan’s ICC tournament matches in India until 2027 also scheduled at neutral venues.
