The field for the 2025 Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF is now complete, confirming the eight top talents aged 20-and-under who will compete in Jeddah from December 17th – 21st. This year’s lineup look strong, headlined by two players who enjoyed a great year on the ATP Tour: Jakub Mensik and Learner Tien.
The tournament, which has previously crowned champions like Sinner and Alcaraz, will take place at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Top Qualifiers and Key Contenders
Leading the pack is the Czech star, Jakub Mensik, who sits atop the ATP Live Race To Jeddah. Mensik, ranked World No. 19, had a great 2025 season, capped by a stunning run to claim his first Masters 1000 title at the Miami Open.
“I am super happy and super excited to qualify for the Next Gen ATP Finals for the second time. The whole year was really good for me, winning my first ATP title with the Masters 1000 in Miami. It was a really great run and makes it even more special finishing the year as a top-20 player. I am really excited to see you guys in December in Jeddah.” commented Mensik.
Close behind him is last year’s runner-up, American Learner Tien. The 19-year-old also secured his maiden ATP Tour title this season at the Moselle Open (Metz) and reached a career-high ranking of World No. 28.
While the defending champion, Joao Fonseca, has withdrawn due to an injury sustained late in the season, the rest of the field is packed with young players on the rise.
Rafael Jodar is the last player to be confirmed for the event in Jeddah, following a strong end to the season. The Spanish talent was outside the Top 900 back in March but after winning three ATP Challenger Tour titles from August to November, he’s qualified for the 2025 Next Gen ATP Finals..
