Paul Heyman Pushes Child – WWE’s Reaction » TWNP-Wrestling News

This Saturday’s Survivor Series was panned by many as another disappointing PLE under the ESPN era. However, WWE did pull out a fair share of surprises during the show. Not only did Liv Morgan return from injury to help Dominik Mysterio win the IC Title back from John Cena, but Austin Theory allegedly made his long-awaited return under a mask during the War Games Match. However, what had most people talking was what happened after the show, as Paul Heyman pushed a child who came too close to The Vision. Here’s the latest on Paul Heyman shoving a kidand WWE’s reaction.

Paul Heyman Pushes Kid While Heading Backstage

The Vision had plenty to celebrate following Survivor Series: War Games, as the faction stood in victory after the Main Event. Yet, Paul Heyman was still in a foul mood.

After the show, the WWE Hall of Famer was leading his charge to the back, with Logan Paul in tow. Suddenly, a young child ran up to The Oracle in excitement. The youngster jumped in front of the former ECW owner and got an extremely rude awakening.

As the child grabbed Paul Heyman’s arm, The Vision’s leader shoved him away. From there, security intervenes to escort the kid out of the way.

Multiple angles show Paul Heyman verbally admonishing the child as he pushed him. This interaction has drawn a divide among the Internet Wrestling Community. Many are applauding Paul Heyman’s heel tendencies and for protecting himself, as the child put his hands on the WWE talent first.

However, a significant portion of the WWE Universe is advocating against The Advocate. They believe that WWE Superstars and managers (including an Oracle) shouldn’t put their hands on fans. Furthermore, Paul Heyman pushed a child, not an adult. So, there’s some criticism against The Vision’s leader.

How Does WWE Feel About Paul Heyman Shoving the Child?

On a recent episode of WWE Unreal, Paul Levesque thought Jacob Fatu shoved a fan. The former Triple H started to lose his composure backstage, being adamant that Superstars can’t put their hands on fans. However, the Chief Content Officer of WWE was assured that the fan was a plant and that he was trained to take a bump.

Paul Heyman pushed a boy, not a plant. However, multiple backstage reports indicate that there is no heat on Paul Heyman for shoving the child.

Instead, WWE is pointing the finger at security. They are upset that security allowed fans to get that close to the talent when it wasn’t a scripted part of the show. It’s one thing for fans to interact with Jey Uso as part of an entrance; it’s another when a child puts his hands on a talent trying to make their way to the back. While Paul Heyman pushing a child has received some backlash online, there won’t be any consequences from WWE for The Vision leader.

Who Was Under the Hood During War Games?

A hooded figure scaled the cage during the bout’s closing moments. The unknown Superstar booted CM Punk in the face before flattening him with Seth Rollins’ Stomp.

There are now pictures circulating on the internet that show Seth Rollins in front of a bus at Petco Park in San Diego this past weekend. These leaked images may add fuel to speculation that Seth Rollins was under the hood. After all, The Visionary does have a never-ending disdain for CM Punk, and the hooded figure used a Stomp.

Seth Rollins was at Petco Park for War Games

However, many reports indicate that the hooded figure during War Games was indeed Austin Theory. Seth Rollins was already on hand to support his wife, Becky Lynch, in her War Games Match. It’s also believed that WWE may have leaked this photo, much like they set up the fan cam attack in the parking lot between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes earlier this year.

As we first reported here, WWE had to alter plans for Austin Theory significantly after Seth Rollins’ injury. However, it looks like things are back on track with the former US Champion.

Many fans did point out that the hooded figure seemed taller than Austin Theory. However, it’s not uncommon for some wrestlers to wear “lifts” in their boots to appear taller. Austin Theory could have worn lifts to throw fans off his track even more.

Chris Jericho (who is rumored to be returning to WWE soon) admitted to wearing lifts when he first joined WWE because it was “the land of the giants.”

Whether it’s Paul Heyman pushing a kid, speculating who is under the hood, or the fact that the show fell flat, Survivor Series certainly has people talking. It’ll be interesting to see if The Vision reveals who was under the hood during Raw tonight!
