Mark Wood to replace James Anderson in second test against West Indies

As James Anderson retired after England’s first test of the series against West Indies concluded, the Three Lions have added pacer Mark Wood to the squad for the second Test which starts on July 18 at Trent Bridge.

Wood, who played three of the five Tests against India earlier this year, was part of England’s T20 World Cup squad and featured in five matches.

He alongside Gus Atkinson, Chris Woakes and Ben Stokes will be England’s pace options in the test and possibly for the rest of the test series.
