Many industry experts argue that golf-related enterprises stand to benefit financially from expanding female representation in leadership roles.

In the United Kingdom, estimates indicate that women’s representation in club management positions ranges from approximately 20% to 25%. In more progressive and chartered clubs, this figure may range from 20% to 35%.

In the European Union and across Europe as a whole, there is a lack of consistent data; however, when clubs or federations report such information, the rates of female management in targeted inclusive clubs generally fall within the range of 20% to 35%. In numerous other regions, the proportion of women in management roles is significantly lower.

Women leaders often bring fresh perspectives, stronger community engagement strategies, and a more holistic understanding of emerging consumer expectations.

However, realizing these benefits requires more than acknowledging women’s potential.
