The Klunkpackers is a new video series from State Bicycle Co., following a group of friends bikepacking on their loaded singlespeed State Klunkers. Each episode features a different adventure, and every trip is an approachable, one to three-night outing. They go over things like routes, gear choices, and camp setups, but the primary goal is to find pretty places with fun people… on klunkers.
Episode one follows Jesse, Ryan, Dan, and Aaron on a 130-mile out-and-back ride from North Bend, Washington, along the Palouse to Cascades Trail. Their three-day ride is packed full of laughter and camaraderie, and one fairly devastating mechanical—but this is klunkpacking, right?
