Shivam Dube becomes POTM
As India won the match, popular all rounder Shivam Dube became the Player Of The Match. Dube had a commendable innings, scoring 26 runs off 12 balls. This gave him a strike rate of 216.67.
Shivam also bowled in the match, showing great athleticism as he took 2 wickets while bowling, of Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza and batsman Dion Myers. Dube gave away 25 runs in 4 overs, maintaining an economy rate of 6.2. Shivam also took the catch of Brian Bennett on Mukesh Kumar’s ball.
“It’s always a special thing to contribute in both departments. Took some wickets, very happy. In T20s, you can struggle but one shot and you can get back. The ground is big, we enjoy playing here, the atmosphere and the people are amazing.” Shivam Dube said.
