The staggering statistic where Novak Djokovic stands head and shoulders above Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal

Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Roger Federer can rarely be split in the ‘greatest of all time’ conversation.

While Djokovic has won more Grand Slams, each man brings something different to the long-running debate.

Each man dominated on a different surface, with Federer holding multiple Wimbledon records and Nadal becoming near-unstoppable at Roland Garros.

However, there is one statistic that sees Djokovic soar above the rivals he met so many times on the tennis court.

Novak Djokovic’s ridiculous top 10 wins record

Top 10 wins are often a fantastic barometer to gauge where top players truly are in the pecking order of the ATP Tour.

It’s fascinating, then, that Djokovic has ended the season with more top 10 wins in 13 seasons on the ATP Tour.

The all-time record is miles above Federer and Nadal, who claimed just eight and three, respectively, throughout their careers.

Djokovic has played 20 seasons on the ATP Tour, which means he’s managed to top the list in over half of his time in tennis.

Novak Djokovic’s top 10 wins in 2025

Djokovic played sporadically throughout the 2025 season, but he still managed to rack up four victories over top 10 players.

The Serbian star shocked Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinal of the Australian Open at the beginning of the year, after a four-set classic in Melbourne.

He followed that up by beating world number three Alexander Zverev in the last eight of Roland Garros and world number four Taylor Fritz at the same stage of the US Open.

Djokovic’s final victory over a top 10 player in 2025 saw him defeat world number nine Lorenzo Musetti in the final of the Hellenic Championships, where he claimed his second title of the season.
