In the most recent ICC T20 rankings, India’s opener Shafali Verma rose to 15th place while her captain Harmanpreet Kaur climbed to 12th place as a result of their impressive results in the series against South Africa.
Shafali climbed two spots to share the 15th position with Danni Wyatt from England and Amelia Kerr from New Zealand, while Harmanpreet moved up three spots to now have 613 rating points.
With her steady position at number five, the daring Smriti Mandhana is still the highest-ranked Indian hitter.
Deepti Sharma, who is an experienced bowler, maintained her position at third on the list.
In the rankings, Radha Yadav jumped eight spots to rank fifteen, Pooja Vastrakar moved up six spots to rank twenty-three, and Shreyanka Patil moved up nine places to rank sixty.
With a rating of 768 points, spinner Sarah Glenn of England has set a new career best. In four of England’s current T20 International series at home against New Zealand, she has claimed eight wickets.
Because of this, the right-armer has been able to hold onto her ranking as the second-best T20I bowler in the globe.
With eight scalps after the first four games of the five-game series, Sophie Ecclestone, a colleague and fellow spinner, is the only player ahead of Glenn in the ratings.
