The Oklahoma City Thunder get set to take on the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Cup semifinals.

The Oklahoma City Thunder destroyed the Phoenix Suns by 49 points to pick up their franchise best 16th straight win to improve to 24-1 on the season.

The Thunder are now tied with the Golden State Warriors for the best start through 25 games in NBA history.

That Warriors team went 73-9 and set a new NBA record for regular season wins.

That is a true testament to how great they have played behind their MVP and scoring champion Gilgeous-Alexander.

The Thunder need to go 51-9 the rest of the way to reach 74 wins, which is extremely doable considering how dominant they have looked.

Will the Thunder make NBA history and reach 74 wins this season? With the way they are playing, there’s a strong chance they will.
