Did John Cena Win His Last Match In WWE?

What happened tonight on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event as John Cena stepped into the ring for the last time against Gunther?

John Cena ended his historic WWE career tonight in Washington, DC at Saturday Night’s Main Event. He went one-on-one with former World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. The same man who retired Goldberg earlier this year. But which man came out on top this evening?

The finish of the match saw Gunther force John Cena to tap out to the sleeper hold. After decades of telling fans to never give up, Cena gave up to end his WWE career.

The WWE Universe in attendance was not thrilled with this result and loudly chanted bullshit following the match. John Cena thanked the crowd and tried to leave, but was stopped by Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and others to celebrate him.

The crowd booed Triple H’s presence and chanted that he “f*cked up.” Clearly referring to his booking of the match. Rhodes and Punk each put their respective championship on his shoulders as the crowd thanked Cena for his legendary career.

Cena raised both titles to the air, much to the delight of the live crowd, as the locker room cleared out and surrounded the ring. Triple H embraced Cena, and the crowd booed loudly again. Triple H laughed it off.

The night ended with a music video of Cena’s career.
