John Cena’s last match takes place tonight at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, but before it took place, Joe Hendry made a shocking appearance.
Just ahead of tonight’s match between Cena and Gunther, The Miz interrupted the festivities. Dressed in the same outfit he wore against Cena back at WrestleMania 27, he wasn’t happy he wasn’t involved in tonight’s show. The Miz said he should’ve been included in Cena’s last time tour, but before he could keep going, R-Truth interrupted him.
R-Truth came down to the ring holding a ball in his hand. He said that he watched The Miz do something inappropriate with Nick Aldis’ balls during “The Last Time is Now Tournament,” and rob someone of their chance.
He then handed one of the lottery balls to The Miz, who opened it to reveal…Joe Hendry’s name. Hendry’s music hit, and the star appeared right at ringside. Hendry got in the ring and promptly hit a few moves on The Miz. Then, he and Truth did a tandem five-knuckle shuffle on him, and “pinned” The Miz for a pseudo three-count.
