The mystery attacker who showed up at Survivor Series and attacked CM Punk and then followed it up by more attacks last week on WWE Raw was revealed on tonight’s episode.
During the main event of the show, the masked man appeared once again this time attacking Rey Mysterio with a curb stomp, allowing Logan Paul to win the match. The attacker and Paul then stared each other down but Punk ran down with a chair, causing the two to scatter with the masked man heading into the crowd where he took off his mask to reveal himself as Austin Theory with a new, buzzed haircut look.
Theory has been off TV since the summer when his alliance with Grayson Waller broke down with Waller instead aligning with The New Day. Theory was rumored to be returning as part of the Vision and to wrestle at Survivor Series, however, injuries to Seth Rollins and Jacob Fatu altered WWE’s original plans but they never abandoned Theory’s alliance with the stable.
