The Golden State Warriors aren’t having the type of start they were hoping to have.
The Golden State Warriors have started the season 13-14 and right now they are the 8th seed in the Western Conference.
The good news is Stephen Curry is back after suffering a left quadriceps contusion and muscle strain.
He has been stellar in his last two games. Curry poured in 48 points against the Portland Trail Blazers and in the game prior to that he scored 39 points against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but the bad news is the Warriors lost both games.
The Golden State Warriors could be busy on the trade market
The Warriors have a big problem right now because even though Curry has been putting up superstar type performances, the team still can’t find a way to win.
Should the Golden State Warriors trade Jonathan Kuminga for Myles Turner?
This trade would solve two big problems for the Golden State Warriors!
With that being said, the Warriors could be active on the trade market, but would they consider moving one of their big pieces in Draymond Green or Jimmy Butler?
Warriors insider Monte Poole broke down the likelihood of a trade like that happening.
“Yeah, they could. I would say that I’m sure it’s crossed their minds. And the thing is, you know how Steph [Curry] is, you know, he likes what he likes and he likes Draymond [Green] being on his team.
“They’d have to persuade him that it’s for the good of the team and the season to do this. I would not say it’s impossible, but right now it still seems improbable. But yeah, I mean, I see what you’re saying.
“Depends on what the other team would want too. For Draymond, there might be a team that says, you know what, we need a Draymond Green.
“And there’s only one of those guys in the league. But there will be more teams I think that would say, [Jonathan] Kuminga could be something for us.”

The Golden State Warriors are more likely to trade Jonathan Kuminga
Someone who the Warriors are likely to trade is Jonathan Kuminga, who is trade eligible on January 15th.
Kuminga has fallen out of the rotation and was benched in the Warriors’ last three games prior to their matchup against the Phoenix Suns.
