December 19, 2025 — Final Statwatch for 2025

The 2025 U.S. scholastic field hockey season is one which saw a repeat player as the top goal-scorer, as Malvern Villa Maria (Pa.) senior Caitlin Connell put in 68 goals.

On the assist side of the ledger, how about the season that Kira Takahashi-Trader had for Yorktown Tabb (Va.)? She had 56 assists in the 2025 season, and the Tigers needed all of them. Her outstanding pass in the final quarter to teammate Kennedy Parlett with four minutes left in the VHSL Class 3 state final led to a tip-in which was the decisive goal.

Team-wise, it is interesting that, in the last couple of years, three teams — Delmar (Del.), Watertown (Mass.), and Yorktown Tabb (Va.) have assembled winning streaks of more than 100 games each.

These streaks, as well as Watertown’s all-time streak set nearly a decade ago, join one of the longest-held streaks in scholastic field hockey, that of Oklahoma City Casady (Okla.), which won 106 straight games from 1956 to 1969. (Fun fact: these were the first 106 games that the Hurricanes played as a varsity program).

As of right now, Tabb’s is the only one still active, and it could be sometime in late September or early October when the Tigers could set the all-time win streak record:

School Wins Yrs
Watertown (Mass.) 124 2008-17
Delmar (Del.) 120 2017-23
Yorktown Tabb (Va.) 113 2021-25*
Oklahoma City Casady (Okla.) 106 1956-69
Watertown (Mass.) 103 2019-25
*–Active streak

In the red type below is our usual aggregation of American scholastic field hockey statistics, culled from available on-line sources and the public. You can also adopt the easy-to-use MaxPreps.com platform. I encourage you to get your fellow teams to enter their information there as well as whichever is your local news site, so that we can aim for as complete a statistical picture of the country as possible.
