Several NASCAR race shops in Cabarrus County and the surrounding area welcome guests year-round— and that’s great news for fans visiting during any season. On select days ahead of Coca-Cola 600 race weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, visitors can experience these stops in a new way during special fan events.
When the season schedule brings teams back to “Where Racing Lives,” many of them host special appreciation events for fans at their home base.
The Fan Day Experience
What’s a Fan Day like? While the experience is different at every shop, you’ll find an array of exciting sights, sounds and things to do. Connect with your favorite sport and get an inside look at the racing experience with activities like autograph sessions and campus tours. Past events have also featured fun photo opportunities, cars on display, food, giveaways and more.

Hendrick Motorsports has announced that the team will once again welcome fans to the organization’s storied campus. This year’s two-day Fan Fest invites visitors for a chance to meet drivers, take a tour and take part in entertainment for all ages. Hyak Motorsports Fan Day
Thursday, May 22, 2025 – Harrisburg
Located just minutes from Charlotte Motor Speedway, Hyak Motorsports (formerly JTG Daugherty Racing) will host Fan Day fun on May 22 from 1-4 p.m. Details are pending but last year, the team hosted an afternoon of festivities where attendees had the opportunity to meet driver Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. and see the car he drove to victory at the 2023 Daytona 500. Race shop tours, snow cones, hauler tours, and giveaways were on offer as well.

RFK Racing Fan Day

Save the date: Fan Day is returning to RFK Racing, too! As we eagerly await details for this year’s event, take a look back at alI the fun in 2024 when fans toured the shop, tried out a driving simulator, took part in autograph sessions, and met NASCAR champions Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher and Daytona champion David Ragan. Food trucks, live music, and interactive displays added to the festive atmosphere.
