Mwamba RFC raid Impala for trio as Abel Matanda complete move

Mwamba RFC have strengthened both their men’s and women’s squads following the latest round of player signings as the club looks to mount a strong push in the remainder of the season.

On the men’s side, Mwamba have made several additions, headlined by the signing of Abel Matanda, who joins the club after his release from Kenya Harlequin. The forwards have also been bolstered by the arrival of Ammon Bwambok from Impala RFC.

Mwamba have further reinforced their ranks with the signings of Gideon Makumi and Martin Okoth Oyugi from Impala RFC, with Oyugi making a return to the club in what marks a notable comeback.

Other men’s registrations include Brian Omani, Jerry Okoth, Jason Adongo, Wycliff Ochieng, Philip Baya, Daniel Musyoka and Brian Kiprotich, all joining as new players to add depth and competition across positions.

Meanwhile, the women’s team has also received a significant boost with a raft of new registrations. Mwamba have added Esther Mmboga, Celestine Awino, Georgina Jeptoo, Pauline Atieno, Sabrina Akinyi, Lynne Khamadi and Mercy Khatenje as they continue to strengthen their squad and build for consistency in the league.
