A new movie about the life of former Indian cricket player Yuvraj Singh, which will tell his inspiring story, is being made, the people making the movie said on Tuesday.
The upcoming biographical film, which has not yet been named, will be produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and also by Ravi Bhagchandka, who has worked on films like “Sachin: A Billion Dreams” and the soon-to-be-released movie with Aamir Khan called “Sitaare Zameen Par”.
According to a press release, the movie will be a big tribute to Singh’s amazing career in cricket, highlighting his significant contributions, his famous six sixes in the 2007 T20 World Cup, his brave personal struggles, and his comeback to cricket in 2012.
Singh, who started his career when he was just 13 years old, mentioned that he hopes his life story will encourage people to face and conquer difficulties.
“I feel very proud and grateful that Bhushan and Ravi will be sharing my story with millions of fans all over the world. Cricket has always been my biggest love and the thing that has helped me stay strong during both good times and bad. I hope this movie motivates others to face their challenges and chase their dreams with strong determination,” said the former Indian all-rounder.
Kumar, who has supported successful movies like “Drishyam 2”, “Animal”, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2”, “Kabir Singh”, and “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior”, expressed his excitement about sharing the inspiring story of Singh on the big screen.
“Yuvraj Singh’s life is a powerful story of overcoming challenges, achieving success, and following his passion. His path from a talented cricketer to a celebrated sports star, and then to a hero in everyday life, is really inspiring.
“I’m excited to share a story that deserves to be seen and heard on the big screen, and to honor his remarkable accomplishments,” he said.
