HEAD has unveiled SQUARED, a new tennis racquet platform designed to deliver both power and comfort through a dual-tube construction that tackles one of the game’s biggest performance trade-offs.
SQUARED’s architecture separates power from comfort within a single frame. The outer tube, built with Torayca™ T800S carbon fiber, is engineered for stability and power, while the foam-filled Comfort Tube runs from the grip through the main string bed to absorb vibration and reduce arm strain.
By engineering these elements independently, HEAD says SQUARED eliminates the need for players to choose between feel and power.

“SQUARED represents a new category of racquet construction,” said Felix Schumann, Director of Product for HEAD USA and Canada. “By separating power and comfort into two distinct systems within the same frame, we’ve created a racquet that allows players to swing more freely while reducing the physical impact of each shot. It’s designed to support performance over time, not just in a single moment.”
SQUARED also introduces one of the most head-light balances in HEAD’s lineup, aimed at creating faster handling and easier acceleration through the swing path. According to internal testing, players were able to swing harder and longer with reduced muscle activity, supporting greater endurance over extended sessions.

A 16×18 string pattern combined with directional drilling is designed to enhance power, responsiveness, and consistency across a range of playing styles.
The racquet also features a premium holographic gray cosmetic that shifts between magenta and teal depending on the light.
Designed for players of all levels, SQUARED sets out to establish a new standard in racquet performance by combining power, comfort, and playability into one platform.
