Experiencing organizations in other parts of the world can often reboot fighters who are struggling with getting over the sting of defeat and a wide variety of other ailments that come with being a professional athlete. In today’s episode of Across The Pond, you will be introduced to a Kiwi Carver serving up a slice of English paradise at light heavyweight for Cage Warriors. A professional mixed martial artist since January 2025 and representing Van Roon Martial Arts, Danny Hartwell owns a 4-1 record in five bouts consisting of two knockouts, one submission and one decision. He has fought for numerous promotions throughout his career as a professional MMA fighter including Hex Fight Series, Eternal MMA ARES Fighting Championship and Cage Warriors. Hartwell is 1-1 under the Cage Warriors banner and has finished three out of his four total victories over the course of his time inside the professional ranks. His sole decision win has resulted in a unanimous verdict. All of Hartwell’s finishes have been inside the distance. He has spent his tenure in countries like Australia, France and the United Kingdom.
In his professional MMA debut at ARES Fighting Championship 28, he submitted Zakaria Elhana via arm-triangle choke in round one to pick up his lone submission victory as a professional. Hartwell defeated Adnan Larry at Eternal MMA 98 via technical knockout in the second round. Then at Hex Fight Series 37, he defeated Ricky Biechun via unanimous decision to notch his only decision win as a professional.
In his second appearance under the Cage Warriors banner on the main card of Cage Warriors 201 Hartwell defeated Branden Guest via TKO in round three to earn the second knockout victory of his professional career along with scoring win and finish number one under the Cage Warriors banner.
