A professional mixed martial artist since July 2024 and representing Wildside Combat Sports Center, Shamar Perez holds a 1-0 record with his only victory coming via submission. He has fought for Aries Fight Series and has spent his entire career in the United States in his home state of Tennessee. Perez has never gone to the scorecards over the course of his journey as a professional MMA fighter with a 100 percent finish rate alongside one first-round finish in his lone appearance inside the professional ranks with a time of 49 seconds. He also fought for various promotions as an Amateur before turning professional including Valor Fighting Challenge. The one and only finish during his professional career has been within the opening round inside of five minutes or fewer.
In his professional MMA debut at Aries Fight Series Nashville Underground, he faced a fellow debutant in Ben Rainwater and submitted him in round one. The victory earned Perez the first submission win of his professional career in addition to his first finish. He also scored his first win as a professional mixed martial artist in the process.
