Aduana FC swept the individual awards after their dominant 3-0 victory over Techiman Liberty Youth in the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup on Saturday.
The Premier League side delivered a strong performance at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, booking their place in the semi-finals while also claiming the key individual honours from the match.
Winger Henson Amponsah was named Man of the Match after an impressive display that helped drive Aduana’s attacking play throughout the game.
Defender Alex Boakye also received recognition after being named Best Defender. The centre-back produced a commanding performance and added his name to the scoresheet during the victory.
Despite the defeat, Koulibaly Andrews of Techiman Liberty Youth was named Most Promising Player for his effort and performance during the contest.
Goals from Daouda Ben Sidibe, Alex Boakye and Emanuel Marfo sealed the comfortable win for the Dormaa-based side, who controlled the match from start to finish.
The victory sends Aduana FC into the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup, where they will face the winner of the quarter-final encounter between Nations FC and Berekum Chelsea.
