AEW Dynamite is live tonight from the Canadian Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
The following are results of the April 1, 2026 show.
Chris Jericho Returns To Kick Off The Show
Things get started with a bang this week, as we hear the familiar sounds of “Judas in My Mind” to open up the show. Chris Jericho emerges and fans sing along as the pro wrestling legend makes his way to the ring, making his surprise return.
He settles in the ring to loud chants of “Jericho! Jericho!” He soaks in the moment. Fans chant “Welcome back!” and “Welcome home!” Jericho gets on the microphone and says, “Winnipeg … AEW, I am home!” His theme hit again as he mugged the camera and then played to the crowd again with a big smile on his face to wrap the brief segment up.
Will Ospreay Goes After The Death Riders
The commentators talk about Chris Jericho being back, but not for long, as they send us to the backstage area where something is going on in progress. We see Will Ospreay going after Jon Moxley. Wheeler Yuta tries to break things up only to be sent into some kegs, before security arrives to put a stop to things here. They pull him away.
AEW Dynasty: MJF vs. Kenny Omega Contract Signing
Back inside the arena, AEW World Champion MJF makes his entrance to get the AEW Dynasty 2026 main event contract signing for his title defense against Kenny Omega underway. Out next is his challenger, Mr. Omega himself. The two take their respective seats to start things off.
Omega interrupts MJF as he tries to talk. He runs him down for always having something to say. Omega says he’s got something to say. He talks about how MJF thinks he’s the reason everyone comes to AEW. He says he’s not. He says he tried to convince Tony Khan that, and even him, but he knows fans are here to see everyone.
MJF then gets his turn on the microphone and laughs at Omega claiming to be at one hundred percent. He says he talked to doctors who saw Omega and knows something Omega hasn’t told anyone. He said his diverticulitis is worse than ever and could explode at any moment.
He then flips the table and punks Omega, trying to get him to hit him so that the match will be off. Omega does not. MJF tries taunting him verbally, but ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey hits the ring and yanks the mic out of MJF’s hand. A match is made for tonight with ‘American Hero’ MJF vs. ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey.
Jack Perry, Brody King & Kenny Omega vs. Ricochet, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona
We continue to fly through this show, as we go from the contract signing segment starting, being interrupted by Chris Jericho, shooting to Ospreay and the Death Riders fighting backstage, straight into the contract signing, which evolves to Bailey-MJF announcement, straight into entrances for our opening match.
It will be AEW National Champion Jack Perry, Brody King and Kenny Omega taking on The Demand trio of Ricochet, Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona in trios action. We head to a quick 90-second pre-match commercial break as The Demand finish up their ring entrance.
When the show returns, Perry makes his way out. Already out there in the ring with him is Omega from earlier. Brody King came out during the break. The bell sounds and we’re officially off-and-running with this one. Omega and Kaun kick things off for their respective teams at the onset.
Kaun with a side headlock. Omega sneaks out and steps on the leg of Kaun. Omega off the ropes, but Ricky hits him from behind. This distraction leads to a tag and Ricky stomps on Kenny in his corner. Ricky gets slapped by Kenny, and he wants a tag. Omega with a back body drop and King gets the tag.
Brody and Jack take GOA off the apron. Ricky proceeds to get trucked by everyone and then eats a Senton from King! Brody with the pin, but Toa Liona with the save. Everyone fights in the ring, but since this is a Rick Knox match, that’s no surprise lol. Everyone ends up on the floor except for Perry, who hits a moonsault onto the Demand and Kenny lol.
Back in the ring, and King has Ricky. Ricky looking for a suplex of King, but Liona is back to help out. Everyone is trying a suplex in the middle of the ring, but Omega with axe handles to the Demand and the good guys hit a triple suplex lol. Perry with chops to Ricky, but Ricky slows him down with a headlock.
Kaun with the blind tag, and Perry is sent from the ring, where Liona trucks him into tomorrow. That’ll take us to another break. And we’re back, as Perry seems to be trouble yet again. Liona smacks Omega one on the apron, and the Demand run train over Perry. Team powerbomb to Perry, and Liona again smacks Omega before he pins Perry, who kicks out at two.
Ricky in, and he tries to keep Perry at bay with an elbow to the kidney, but Perry off the ropes and he hits a flying shoulder block. Omega and Kaun get the tag, and the son of Winnipeg smacks all the Demand members. He has Kaun up. Bishop did not escape! The pin, but Ricky makes the save. Omega off the ropes, enziguri to Kaun. Snap Dragon to Ricky! One for Kaun! Kenny tries one on Toa, but he’s too big.
Toa smacks Brody, who responds by helping Kenny hit the Snap Dragon to Liona! ARF! ARF! ARF! Three for one CANNONBALL by King! The pin, but Kaun kicks out at two. Kaun sends Omega from the ring and hits a snap guillotine to Perry. Liona runs around like a madman running over everyone. Ricky takes flight and hits Perry and Omega with topes. Kaun dropkicks King out of the way, and Ricky hits a 450 Splash to Omega.
The cover, but Kenny kicks out at two. GOA have Kenny up, but Ricky is dragged off the apron by Perry. Perry sends both members of GOAT to the floor. His Senton is caught, but here comes King to kill everyone. The Terminator has risen! Omega is intercepted by Ricky though! Ricky takes King off the apron, and he hits a tope to Perry! He returns to the ring, but he runs into a V-Trigger.
Kenny looking for another, but Ricky sneaks behind Omega and hits a Poison Rana! GOA slam King into the barricade, but Liona sends Kaun into King, who moves and he ends up getting sent into the timekeeper’s area by King! Back in the ring, Ricky misses the Spirit Gun.
He does, however, connect with Vertigo for a two. Perry hits a knee strike to Kaun and takes the title from him. Ricky with a roll-up of Omega for a two. Omega fires back with the V-Trigger! He has Ricky up for the One-Winged Angel, and the real Hometown Man wins it for his team.
Winners: Jack Perry, Brody King & Kenny Omega

Elsewhere in the back, intrepid report the Remarkable Renee Paquette is waiting for Adam Copeland and Christian Cage. They arrive with chairs, and Adam says tonight is not the night. They will take out anyone who gets in their way, and Copeland has to stop Cage from hitting Renee lol. They walk off and Adam says, “Renee? Really?” We head to a commercial break.
We return and see that Cope and Cage are on the hunt for FTR. They see the sign for their locker room, and they kick the door in, but they find Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero instead. They tell them that FTR will on Collision tomorrow night and that they can take a message for them. Cope says make sure they get this message, and they assault Trent and Rocky with the chairs they had. Cope stomps him to end things.
PAC vs. Will Ospreay
PAC attacks Ospreay during his entrance and he hits him with a brain buster on the apron! The refs check on Ospreay as PAC heads back to the ring. Ospreay gets to his feet, and he starts towards the ring. The doctor keeps telling him that he wants to go, but he doesn’t want him to go. Ospreay is like bugger off and he slides into the ring. Paul Turner checks with him before he rings the bell.
And it seems like the bell turned PAC into a real MADMAN as he stomps Ospreay all over the ring before arguing with Turner. Scoop slam and a knee drop to Ospreay, but Will kicks out at one. PAC sizes up Ospreay as we head out for the break.
PAC has Ospreay in a cravat as we return. Will tries to free himself, but PAC keeps the hold on. Will finally escapes and kicks PAC away twice before leaping to the top and connecting with a springboard forearm! Ospreay is feeling it now, with his springboard back elbow for a two. PAC keeps Ospreay at bay, but Will catches PAC’s head in the turnbuckle! PAC kicks him away, but he jumps into Ospreay’s waiting arms and he hits a stalling suplex! Ospreay with a shoulder to the gut, and he tries a Sunset Flip Powerbomb to the floor! PAC holds on to the ropes, kicking Will away. PAC with a moonsault into a spike DDT to Ospreay on the floor! PAC returns to the ring, and Ospreay barely makes it back at nine.
PAC is waiting for Ospreay however, as he applies the Brutalizer. Ospreay gets to the ropes quickly, however, forcing a rope break. That’ll take us to the next break. PAC has his foot on the neck of Ospreay as we return. Will gets to his feet and he starts a forearm battle with PAC. Maybe not the smartest thing to do. PAC with a spinning kick to the gut and he hits a bridging German for a two.
The PAC train gets rolling, but Ospreay intercepts him with a powerbomb and a high stack for a two! He transitions right into the Styles Clash and he rolls PAC over, but he kicks out at two yet again. Ospreay makes his way to the top, but he takes too long, allowing PAC to sweep out the legs. PAC with some salty language and the edge lord finger lol. He heads to the top and snaps off a Poison Rana, but Ospreay lands on his feet! PAC still manages to score a snap rana for a two!
The PAC train gets rolling and he hits a big lariat! PAC sets up Ospreay for the Tombstone Piledriver and hits it! He sets up Ospreay in the corner and heads to the top. Black Arrow from PAC, who moves right into the Brutalizer! Ospreay gets to his knees with PAC on his back! Now he’s on his feet, but Will collapses right back to the mat. PAC insists that he is out, but Ospreay, in fact, is not. Ospreay gets his foot on the bottom rope, and when PAC tries to turn him over, Ospreay ends up rolling up PAC for the win.

Claudio sets the chair around the neck of Ospreay, and he goes to stomp on the chair, but Jon stops him. Moxley says you are okay. There are six of them and one of you, how did you think this was going to go? Did Jon put him here, or did Will put himself here? He is going to give him a good piece of advice; next time, use your head, or you might lose it permanently. This isn’t personal for me, Will, don’t make it personal. We head to another commercial break after this.
Winner: Will Ospreay
Triangle of Madness vs. Brawling Birds & Mina Shirakawa
Back to the ring we go for women’s trios action. Mina wants Thekla at the bell, so she’ll get her. Thekla mocks Toni Storm, which incites Mina, and Thekla tags in Skye. Skye throws Mina to the mat by her hair and sends her into the corner. Mina avoids her charge and hits a head scissor takeover. Tag to Windsor, who rag dolls Blue before Hayter comes in. Jamie with the pin, but Skye kicks out at two.

Skye takes a cheap shot at the Birds, and Thekla and Julia distract Mina, and Skye attacks from behind. Thekla hits a double stomp to the back of Mina and she mock dances as we head out for the break.

Alex responds with a headbutt, and Mina gets the tag. Mina throws Thekla across the ring and hits a running knee strike for a two. Figure-Four, but Thekla kicks her away. This leads to the point in the match where everyone gets their stuff in.
Back to Mina and Thekla, as Mina screams the name of Thekla and hits a spinning kick to the head. Thekla takes Mina to her corner and tags in Skye. Mina fights off both Skye and Julia and tags in Jamie, but Alex also comes in. They sandwich Julia, but Two Birds One Stone is intercepted by Thekla. Tommaso Ciampa To Compete On Thursday Night Collision
In a bit of in-house promotion for this week’s special Thursday night live episode of AEW Collision, we learn that “The Psycho Killer” Tomasso Ciampa and Juice Robinson will have a match on the April 2 episode.
Darby Allin Gets Confronted By The Don Callis Family
Now it’s time to hear from Darby Allin. He said he is going to hold the throttle until he either sees God or the AEW World Title. And he hasn’t seen God yet, so he wants to see the Devil tonight. Why are we playing games with the Don Callis Family? He doesn’t care who wins between Omega and MJF, he just wants to put an end to “his condescending bullshi*! So, get out here, Max!”
Instead, here comes the Don Callis Family. Don says that MJF is paying his family a lot of money, and he has a message for him. He says that if Darby can defeat his handpicked Don Callis Family member at AEW Dynasty, then when MJF is done destroying Kenny Omega, then he will give Darby his title shot. And Callis and MJF agree on a lot, and they both agree that the perfect opponent for Allin at Dynasty is Andrade.
Andrade acts surprised, and Callis sends Lance Archer, Hechicero, and El Clon to the ring. But Jack Perry and Brody King are here to even the odds. Perry and King have a stare down with Allin, but Kenny Omega is here! Allin leaves the ring, says something to Omega, and leaves up the ramp, as Omega slaps hands with the fans at ringside. We head to another commercial break on that note.
AEW World Championship Eliminator
‘American Hero’ MJF (c) vs. ‘Speedball’
It’s main event time!
“The American Hero” himself, AEW World Champion MJF makes his way out with an over-the-top American look. Kenny Omega is on commentary for this match. ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey comes out with the Canadian flag and a red and white Karate Gi.
Before things can get officially started, MJF attacks before the bell, and Bryce Remsburg pulls MJF away and checks on Bailey. Mike is good to go, and the bell rings officially. Bailey peppers MJF with forearms and looks for Time and Adventure, but MJF pulls Bryce in front to avoid contact. He gouges the eyes of Bailey and throws Mike out of the ring. MJF throws Bailey into the ring steps and taunts “The Cleaner.”
Meanwhile, back inside the ring, MJF grounds Bailey with side headlock. Bailey to his feet, but MJF takes him back down and he mocks the Pledge of Allegiance lol. MJF tries to whip Bailey, but he chops his arm instead and turns his back. Bailey fires back with some offense, but MJF catches him out with a powerbomb over the knee, which gets him a two. MJF mocks Bailey’s poses, but MJF sweeps the leg.
We see Bailey with some strikes, but MJF with a well-timed thumb to the eye. He keeps running into the feet of Bailey though, like he was a magnet and Bailey was the fridge. Kick to the head, kick to the back, and a running SSP from Bailey gets a two. Bailey kicks MJF out of the ring and to the floor, allowing Bailey to hit the corner and he takes out MJF on the floor with the moonsault with authority.
From there, MJF is returned to the ring, and Bailey scores with a springboard missile dropkick. Bailey to the apron and to the top again looking for the Ultimo Weapon, but MJF channels his inner Orange Cassidy and slowly rolls away. He catches Bailey with a guillotine over the top. Bailey with a backslide and an inside cradle, both for a two. A trap sunset flip also gets him a two. MJF connects with some offense, but he runs into a Spanish Fly for a two-count.
Bailey crawls out to the apron. MJF follows in, but Bailey with whiplash to Max. Bailey jumps right into a Liger Bomb from MJF for a two. Bailey again ends up on the apron, as MJF chokes him against the middle rope. MJF with a dropkick to the knee of the Bailey, sending him to the floor. MJF mocks Bailey’s poses and flips off Omega at ring side. MJF catches Bailey on his way back in with a Heat Seeker, but Bailey throws him off. MJF thinks he is safe sliding out of the ring, but Mike hits him with a moonsault.
On that note, we shift gears and head into a mid-match commercial break, likely our final of the evening. When the show returns, we see that Bailey is on the top rope, but MJF hits the ropes, causing Bailey to crash to the apron as we return. MJF heads to the apron looking for a piledriver, but Bailey breaks the grip and hits the moonsault double knees. Back in the ring, and Bailey loads up the Ultimo Weapon, but MJF moves.
He can’t escape the Snap Dragon, though. MJF ducks two kicks from Bailey but third time is the charm! Same goes for the Ultimo Weapon, as Bailey finally hits it. The cover, but MJF is too close to the ropes. Bailey sets MJF on the top rope, but MJF again gouges the eyes of Speedball to get free. MJF runs into Bailey, but Mike trips him up. He misses another moonsault knee drop, and MJF connects with a Tombstone Piledriver on the apron.
After that, it’s elementary, as the AEW World Champion and your ‘American Hero’ finishes things off with his finisher, connecting with The Heat Seeker for the pin fall victory. Once the match wraps up, MJF continues to beat down Bailey, bringing Omega to the ring to make the save. MJF flees the scene. Officials and medical staff check on Bailey. Omega helps Bailey up. That’s how the show wraps up. Thanks for joining us!
Winner: MJF
