– MJF vs Kenny Omega for the AEW World Title has been made official for the main event of AEW Dynasty.
– MJF made it clear his criticism was aimed directly at indie wrestlers, saying “I think a lot of these guys suck” while praising those “working hard and making the towns and doing everything that they need to do to become better talents.” He specifically called out the indie scene for lacking effort, stating “a lot of these new guys are lazy” and “they’re not getting in the car… they’re not traveling to do ring crew,” emphasizing how important it is to get reps.
Reflecting on his own time on the indies, he said “I would drive to… name a state in North America… Canada… Mexico” and did it for “$20 and a can of Coke and a hot dog and a handshake… because I wanted to get better.” He then addressed indie wrestlers complaining about not being signed, firing back “why aren’t I signed yet?” with “you’re not signed yet because you f****** suck. Get better. Apply yourself.” He urged them to “go to training three to four times a week… do tape study… become a student of the sport,” warning that All Elite Wrestling “is not the lazy promotion” and “nothing’s going to be handed to you.”
