AEW’s MJF Unleashes Profanity-Laced Rant On WWE’s CM Punk In Interview

AEW star MJF has fired shots at one of his most personal rivals, CM Punk, once again. This time, he made it clear there is no respect left at all.

Punk made his comeback to wrestling in 2021 after a seven-year break at AEW Rampage: The First Dance. One of his most talked-about AEW feuds was with MJF. The rivalry’s intensity ramped up as MJF had openly admitted he grew up idolizing Punk.

Their rivalry kicked off in December 2021. MJF later got payback by giving Punk his first AEW singles loss in February 2022, in Chicago. Their last match was a Dog Collar Match at AEW Revolution 2022, in which Punk won after Wardlow turned on MJF and helped Punk.

MJF Sounds Off on CM Punk During Recent Interview

Speaking on Compas On The Beat, the AEW World Champion went on a heated, profanity-heavy rant aimed straight at the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

“Who could possibly give a sh*t. It’s about me right now. F*ck him,” MJF started.

MJF said he would love another chance to beat Punk up. “I’d love to beat the sh*t out of him. Just for sh*ts and giggles. I would love to literally be put in a situation where I could bash his stupid f*cking face in again,” he said.

He argued that Punk only won because Wardlow got involved. The AEW star also reminded everyone that he beat Punk twice in Chicago and said he rarely loses unless someone cheats.

“He had a fluke victory over me in the dog collar match because of that schmuck Wardlow. The only time I lose, somebody cheats. I had CM Punk’s number, I beat him twice in Chicago,” said MJF.

MJF’s comments show the bad blood is still very real.

Interestingly, just a day earlier on Mostly Sports, MJF admitted the feud was quite important to his career. However, he also said that his best moments might still be ahead. MJF said he isn’t sure if the Punk rivalry was the best feud of his career, but he believes it will always be remembered as one of the greatest feuds in wrestling history.
