Chasing a target of 116, Bangladesh lost their 3 wickets at 23 in first 3 overs. Naveen-ul-haq grabbed 2 in powerplay and Fazalhaq took 1 wicket to keep Afghanistan hopes alive.  

Then came skipper Rashid Khan in picture and changed the whole scenario. The spinner magician took 4 wickets during his spell while leaking only 23 runs.

With this win, Afghanistan secured the semifinal berth and will take on South Africa in semifinal 1 on June 27 (IST).
