If you ask any sneaker fan what makes the Air Jordan 4 one of the most respected silhouettes ever, you’ll hear the same names over and over — the Breds, White Cements, Thunder 4s, and a handful of others that helped define a generation of collectors. The 4s weren’t just another retro in the lineup; they became a staple in sneaker culture.
A colorway that doesn’t get the recognition it deserves are the Fear 4s. Releasing in 2024, the Fear 4s joined that lineup as a modern favorite, and after rocking mine since they dropped, I can confidently say they carry the same energy as the classics.

Air Jordan 4 ‘Fear’ Overview
The Fear 4s re-released in 2024 from the “Fear Pack” in 2013. I have expressed many times how bad I would like to experience Jordan packs now that I am older. Back in the day we used to get the Countdown Packs, the infamous DMP pack, and even last year was the perfect opportunity to do a Rare Air pack since the 1s, 3s, 4s and 11s got the Rare Air colorways.
While the Fears don’t come with a direct historic moment like the Space Jam 11s or White Cement 4s, the design feels like a nod to quiet confidence — the kind of shoe that makes you feel ready to step up without needing loud colors to say it for you.
Where to Buy the Air Jordan 4 ‘Fear’
If you’re still looking to add the Fear 4s to your collection, resale marketplaces are your best bet. On GOAT, men’s sizes for the Fear 4s are in the $230-to-$280 range depending on size and condition. Over on StockX, prices are similar, with common sizes settling near the lower end and rarer sizes pushing higher.
