Andrei Arlovski wasn’t competing in the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua undercard, but that didn’t stop him from getting into a brawl backstage during the event.
‘The Pitbull’ has been competing in combat sports since the 90s and has rightfully earned the love and admiration of fans for his work over the years. Despite his acclaimed career, not everybody offers the former UFC heavyweight champion the respect he deserves.
When all was said and done, and the curtain closed on the Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua event in Miami, Florida, Andrei Arlovski got into a fight of his own. Reports suggest that in a restricted backstage area filled with fighters, influencers, and media, Arlovski became physical with a group of men, one of whom was popular streamer Jack Doherty.
According to rumors that are circulating, Arlovski bumped into Jack Doherty, leading to one of Doherty’s entourage to shout a comment and throw a punch at the MMA legend. As expected, this led to a brawl between Arlovski and the group, where the now-46-year-old landed several punches and kicks.
Neither Arlovski, Doherty, nor their teams sustained any serious injuries during the altercation, and as of now, the Miami Police Department hasn’t made a single arrest.

Despite being in the latter stages of his career, with his 50th birthday a few years away, Andrei Arlovski is still going strong in combat sports.
Following his release from the UFC in 2024, the Belarusian has found success in boxing. Competing for MF Duel, Mike Perry’s DBX, and Bare Knuckle FC, the heavyweight seems to have refound joy in fighting.
Currently riding a three-fight win streak, Andrei Arlovski has positioned himself to win another world title. He will collide with fellow UFC alum Ben Rothwell in the BKFC: Knuckle Mania 6 headliner on February 7, hoping to add more gold to his trophy cabinet.
