‘Angry’ Ashish Nehra goes ballistic, screams wildly after Sherfane Rutherford’s dismissal vs MI

Gujarat Titans batter Sherfane Rutherford couldn’t make a bigger impact with the bat in the ongoing game against Mumbai Indians. The 9th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is taking place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday (29th March).

Sherfane Rutherford, who walked out to bat number five, looked to finish the innings on high. The West Indies National Cricket Team batter looked in brutal touch as he slammed two big sixes but couldn’t carry on the start that he had in the ongoing game.

Sherfane Rutherford was removed by Deepak Chahar in the 19th over as Mumbai Indians pulled things back incredibly well. The pacer bowled a delivery on a length around off, to which the batter attempted to hit the massive six.

Sherfane Rutherford lofted the ball over long-off and Mitchell Santner settled underneath to complete a safe catch. What caught the attention of many was the reaction of Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra after the left-hander was back in the hut.

Ashish Nehra looked extremely angry and was seen yelling in frustration. He had his hands up as he expressed his disappointment.
