AEW has seen several wrestlers leave the company over the years, with many landing elsewhere. WWE has been a destination for some former AEW names, and that possibility is now being discussed in relation to Anna Jay, but either way, her contract is ending soon.
Anna Jay could be approaching a crossroads in her AEW career as her contract situation becomes clearer. It will be interesting to see what happens as this year comes to a close.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that Anna Jay’s AEW contract is coming up, though not as soon as some initially believed. There was internal belief within AEW that her deal was nearing its end.
It was reported in late November that sources thought her contract would expire soon, with “soon” meaning within the next six months. It has since been confirmed that her current deal is set to expire in Spring 2026.
It was further noted that attention was drawn to her contract status after Anna Jay hoped to be part of the Blood and Guts match, but that did not happen. Since then, she and Tay Guevara have not appeared on AEW television. There is also no indication the two situations are connected.
People originally believed her contract would expire earlier in 2026, but that timeline was not accurate. Sources now reportedly say Anna Jay is open to exploring her options once her deal is up.
We will have to see what happens when Anna Jay’s time is up with AEW. Only time will tell where she decides to start her next era, but it will be an interesting time for her.
