The heavyweight returned to the sport last month with a sixth-round knockout of Jake Paul following more than a year on the sidelines recovering from injury after his stoppage defeat to Daniel Dubois last September. Joshua then had plans to fight again in February, with rumoured opponent Rico Verhoeven, before taking on long-time rival Tyson Fury later in 2026.
