The LPGA Tour’s Aramco Championship was launched in 2026 as a co-sanctioned event between the LPGA and the Ladies European Tour. It is held at Shadow Creek in Las Vegas
The tournament’s origins extend back to 2020, when Golf Saudi sponsored a team event called the Saudi Ladies Team International. It was later renamed the Aramco Team Series.
In 2025, the Saudi Public Investment Fund — which also funds LIV — rebranded the Team Series as the PIF Global Series. It features five events: the PIF Saudi Ladies International, the Aramco Championship, the PIF London Championship, the Aramco Korea Championship and the Aramco China Championship. The team aspect of the series has been dropped.
Aramco is the Saudi Arabian Oil Company, a state-owned corporation.
