Arman Tsarukyan is a “f***ing gangster”, says UFC star Sean O’Malley

UFC star Sean O’Malley has given his thoughts on the growth and development of lightweight Arman Tsarukyan.

Right now, Arman Tsarukyan is in a pretty interesting position in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is clearly hungry to go out there and compete, but at the top of the lightweight division, there’s no real room for him right now with Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje preparing to fight for the undisputed title at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House.

Tsarukyan, meanwhile, clearly seems to be in the bad books with the UFC. Because of that, he is taking on some side quests that include him competing in different ways, most notably in the grappling/wrestling world.

In a recent episode of his podcast, Sean O’Malley praised how Tsarukyan has been going about his business since it became clear that an immediate title shot wasn’t on the horizon.

O’Malley’s view on Tsarukyan

“Arman’s a f—— gangster,” O’Malley said in a recent episode of his podcast.

“Arman is becoming a legend, we’ve never really seen this. Someone that is in the UFC, growing and becoming more of a superstar by competing outside the UFC.”

“Arman wants to fight and he’s just not getting fights… Arman’s becoming a legend outside of it, and it’s f—— really cool to see, and it’s fun to watch,” O’Malley continued.

For now, all we can do is sit back and wait to see how the title picture unfolds in the lightweight division because at this moment in time, it’s not quite clear beyond the White House.
