Premier League leaders Arsenal can extend their advantage at the top of the table to seven points if they beat Wolves on Wednesday night.
The Gunners had opened up a sizeable lead at the top of the Premier League table, but a draw against Brentford in their last league outing means they currently sit just four points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta will be desperate to see his side return to winning ways at Molineux, where they face a Wolves side that have won just once in the Premier League so far this season.
In the meantime, it has emerged that both Arsenal and one of their fiercest rivals have been dealt a blow in their respective pursuits of a La Liga star.
As per SPORT, via CaughtOffside, Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez favours the idea of a move to Barcelona, rather than a potential switch to England.

The report claims that both Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in the Argentine, who joined Atletico from Manchester City in 2024.
Since the move, Alvarez has scored 41 goals and registered 14 assists in 91 games for the Spanish side across all competitions.
His impressive form for Atleti has attracted interest from both Chelsea and Arsenal, but the report suggests that the player himself would rather stay put in Spain and join Barcelona.
Atletico are also keen to extend the player’s contract, with his current deal set to expire at the end of the 2029/30 campaign.
Chelsea’s interest in Alvarez comes amid Liam Delap’s struggles, with the Englishman having scored just once in the Premier League so far this season after joining from Ipswich Town last summer.
Barcelona, meanwhile, are said to be on the hunt for a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
