It may not be a video game debut, but it is a racing game debut.
The ‘Son of Valkyrie’ has arrived in The Crew Motorfest, as the Aston Martin Valhalla has been added to the car roster.
Available within the popular open-world driving game, the mid-engine hybrid supercar tops out at 217mph. Only 999 will ever be built.
The model has yet to appear in a contemporary sim racing or driving title until now – although this model has been available for Rocket League and Fortnite. An older concept car of the same name has been in Forza titles, but bears little resemblance to this production-ready version.
Players of The Crew Motorfest are greeted by a brief cutscene showcasing the car, and it is currently displayed within the central hub.
It is available for 1,680,000 bucks (earned in-game currency) or 240,000 Cred Credits (real-money paid-for currency). There is also a selection of 13 colours and five wheel rim designs when purchasing.
The British exotica is another scalp for The Crew developer, Ubisoft Ivory Tower, as it continues a run of gaming firsts. Recently, the current-generation BMW M2 CS debuted virtually in the game.

“We now have a great relationship with every [car] brand. They gift us vehicles exclusive to us in the video game industry,” said the company’s Managing Director, Stéphane Beley, to Traxion last year.
“[It’s taken] so many years. Now, I go to Gamescom and have plenty of meetings with brands that ask to be in the game.”
