ATP Dallas Day 4 Predictions Including Shelton vs Mannarino

The remaining Round of 16 matches will be played on Day 5 in Dallas. Ben Shelton and Adrian Mannarino’s contest promises to be fascinating since they have had notable battles in the past. Former US Open winner Marin Cilic and Denis Shapovalov are among the other players on the slate. But who will advance?

ATP Dallas Day 4 Predictions

Jack Pinnington Jones vs Elliot Spizzirri

Head-to-head: First meeting

This is an intriguing matchup between two men who have started the season well. Spizzirri defeated Joao Fonseca at the Australian Open, while Jones made a Challenger Tour final before thrashing Flavio Cobolli in Dallas. Although he was excellent against Cobolli, Jones can be inconsistent. I trust Spizzirri slightly more to refocus and perform well for a second consecutive match.

Prediction: Spizzirri in 3

Marin Cilic vs Ethan Quinn

Head-to-head: First meeting

Cilic’s triumph against the swiftly rising young star Learner Tien underlined how high the 37-year-old’s level remains. If the Croatian serves and hits his groundstrokes that well again, Quinn has no chance. The home favorite can give himself the best possible chance by serving well and mixing up his shots, but Cilic is the most likely winner.

Prediction: Cilic in 2

Denis Shapovalov vs Aleksandar Kovacevic

Head-to-head: Shapovalov 1-0 Kovacevic

A match between two one-handed backhands is always refreshing. However, both men will almost certainly try to target that side by bringing their forehands into play. The conditions also suit each player, meaning it should be an entertaining match. Shapovalov, who has the higher ceiling, is narrowly favored, but it could go either way.

Prediction: Shapovalov in 3

Tommy Paul vs Miomir Kecmanovic

Head-to-head: Kecmanovic 3-2 Paul

Paul has found Kecmanovic challenging to play against. Two of the Serbian’s victories were before 2023, when Paul was a much inferior player, but the head-to-head remains notable. The conditions are undoubtedly favorable to Paul, who won this tournament in 2024. A mental block from past defeats would be the most likely thing to stop him in a match he should win.

Prediction: Paul in 2

Ben Shelton vs Adrian Mannarino

Head-to-head: Mannarino 3-1 Shelton

Shelton lost to Mannarino at the 2024 Australian Open and emotionally retired with an injury in their 2025 US Open third-round meeting after the fourth set. The French veteran’s unconventional game has caused Shelton problems. At the same time, Shelton almost certainly would have won their US Open meeting had it not been for the injury, and he easily beat him in the match before that. On a home hard court, Shelton should progress if he has no physical issues.

Prediction: Shelton in 2
