Audi Takes Major Step Toward F1 Future With First Look at New Team Identity

Audi has taken another decisive step toward its long-awaited Formula 1 debut with the first public glimpse of its new team identity. The reveal marks a significant milestone as the German manufacturer accelerates preparations for its entry into the sport’s top tier.

Audi reveals New F1 Team branding ahead of its official 2026 launch

An F1 journalist on X shared the first look at the new identity, confirming that the full team branding and visual identity will be formally launched in Berlin on January 20.

The event is expected to provide deeper insight into Audi’s vision for Formula 1, including how the brand intends to position itself within a highly competitive and commercially driven championship.

Audi CEO Gernot Döllner said during the launch event, “Unveiling the Audi Revolut F1 Team name and logo marks another major milestone on our journey into the pinnacle of motorsport.”

He added, “Both give our ambition a clear identity, reflecting a strong vision and innovative spirit. We now look ahead to Berlin in January, where we will officially present this exciting new chapter for the Audi brand to the world.”

The inclusion of Revolut in the team’s official name highlights the growing importance of major global partners in Audi’s F1 project. While Audi will enter as a factory-backed team, commercial alliances are expected to play a crucial role in supporting its long-term competitiveness, particularly during the early years of the programme.

Audi’s Formula 1 entry is built around its takeover and transformation of the Sauber operation. The German manufacturer is also steadily strengthening the project through senior management appointments, expanded facilities, and the development of power units in line with the 2026 technical regulations.

Now, with the public reveal of the team name, it signals that much of the foundational work is now in place.

The Berlin launch is also likely to serve as a platform for Audi to outline its broader F1 plans and strategy, including its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and the transfer of technology between motorsports and its road car division.

These themes have been central to Audi’s motorsport philosophy and were key factors in its decision to enter F1 under the new regulations.

As anticipation builds toward the January 2026 presentation and the team’s official debut, the unveiling of the Audi Revolut F1 Team name and logo reinforces Audi’s intent to be a long-term, competitive force in Formula 1.

With branding now taking shape, attention will increasingly turn to on-track performance, leadership structure, and how quickly Audi can challenge the established front-runners once it officially joins the grid.
