A blockbuster semifinal lineup in Rotterdam features the top three seeds in Alex de Minaur, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Alexander Bublik. Auger-Aliassime and Bublik are going head-to-head, while De Minaur faces Ugo Humbert.
(3) Alexander Bublik vs. (2) Felix Auger-Aliassime
Auger-Aliassime and Bublik will be squaring off for the seventh time in their careers when they meet again in the semifinals of the ABN AMRO Open on Saturday. The head-to-head series stands at 4-2 in favor of Auger-Aliassime, who won both of their 2025 encounters — 7-6(7), 6-7(4), 6-3 at the Dubai ATP 500 and 7-6(3), 6-4 in the Paris Masters semis.
Both guys are coming off outstanding seasons and they are showing no signs of slowing down this year. Auger-Aliassime captured the Montpellier title last week and has advanced in Rotterdam with straight-set wins over Alexei Popyrin, Hamad Medjedovic, and Tallon Griekspoor. Bublik battled into the last four by beating Hubert Hurkacz, Jan-Lennard Struff, and Jaume Munar all in three sets — the latter in a deciding tiebreaker. It has been a tough week for the 10th-ranked Kazakh on the heels of a home Davis Cup tie against Monaco. Auger-Aliassime, on the other hand, is well rested and absolutely rolling.
Pick: Auger-Aliassime in 2
(1) Alex de Minaur vs. Ugo HumbertDe Minaur is one victory away from a third consecutive trip to the Rotterdam final. The 26-year-old Australian finished runner-up to Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz in the past two seasons. He is 16-2 lifetime at this ATP 500 event against opponents ranked outside the top four, and so far this week De Minaur has dismissed Arthur Fils, Stan Wawrinka, and Botic van de Zandschulp.

Up next for the top seed is an eighth showdown against Humbert, who trails the head-to-head series 5-2. The 36th-ranked Frenchman triumphed in the 2020 Antwerp final, but he lost their most recent indoor hard-court contest via a 7-6(2), 6-3 decision during 2023 Davis Cup competition. Humbert is bidding for his second final of the season, having finished runner-up in Adelaide to Tomas Machac in January. Although Humbert has looked good while taking out Daniil Medvedev, Guy Den Ouden, and Christopher O’Connell, De Minaur is a whole different beast — yes, even compared to Medvedev right now. The world No. 8 has had the upper hand in this matchup and he absolutely loves Rotterdam, so there is no reason to think that anything will change on Saturday.
Pick: De Minaur in 3
