In the second match of the Pakistan Champions One Day Cup, Mohammad Haris’ Stallions locked horns with Shaheen Afridi’s Lions. The Pakistani fans witnessed a thrilling encounter between these two teams. While batting first, Stallions lost their first wicket quickly as Yasir Khan was dismissed on 13 runs in 18 balls. Shan Masood added 41 runs in 53 balls.Â
Babar Azam and Tayyab Tahir played a crucial role. Both scored half-centuries and maintained a crucial partnership. Babar Azam was dismissed scoring 76 runs in 79 balls. Tahir scored 74 runs in 72 balls. Captain Mohammad Haris added 55 runs in 36 balls. The Stallions surpassed 300 runs, finishing with a strong total of 336 for 5 wickets in 50 overs.
After putting this giant total, the Stallions bowlers dominated the opponent. Haris Rauf thrived securing 3 wickets by conceding 43 runs. Mohammad Ali and Jahandad Khan secured 2 wickets each.
