Australian wrestler Charli Evans made an appearance on last week’s episode of ROH TV, where she faced Mina Shirakawa in a singles match. Shirakawa emerged victorious in the bout, which was recorded during the Grand Slam: Australia special on Saturday, February 14. Additionally, Evans participated in the AEW House Rules show in Australia, teaming up with Kyla Knight to take on The Brawling Birds, consisting of Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor.
Following her appearance on ROH programming, there was online speculation regarding Evans potentially signing with the company. However, according to Fightful Select, sources have indicated that she is not signed to ROH.
This year, Evans has competed multiple times for International Wrestling Australia and is a regular competitor for Pro Wrestling Australia. She is a former PWA Heavyweight Champion, having held the title for 281 days before losing it on January 17.
In addition to this, she has held several championships, including the EVE Tag Team Championships, the Pro Wrestling Subjective Women’s Championship, and the Sendai Girls Tag Team Championship, among others. Over the past few years, she has also worked matches for PROGRESS and GCW.
