Ever since Ethan Page lost the WWE NXT North American Championship, there has been speculation about his potential move to the main roster in the coming weeks. Page was dethroned by Myles Borne on the February 24th episode of NXT, with his title reign lasting 273 days, tying him with former WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi. This past Tuesday night on NXT, Page and Borne faced off in an impromptu rematch, where Borne emerged victorious, successfully retaining his championship.
According to BodySlam+, WWE sources have reported that there have been internal discussions regarding Page’s transition to the main roster. One source indicated that Page is expected to be involved in the main event title picture on NXT before making the move, but no further details were provided.
Page has been one of the best signings for WWE in recent years, having made his debut with the company in the summer of 2024. Last May, he dethroned Ricky Saints to become the NXT North American Champion and embarked on a dominant reign. He later formed an alliance with SmackDown Superstar Chelsea Green, and together they captured the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship. However, they lost the title to Mr. Iguana and Lola Vice last month.
