Backstage News On WWE Reportedly Happy With How Danhausen Has Turned Things Around

As previously reported, Danhausen made his WWE debut on February 28, 2026, during the Elimination Chamber PLE, emerging from a mystery crate. The segment initially received a strong reaction from the crowd when he came out of the box, but this enthusiasm diminished by the time he and his dancers entered the ring.

According to Fightful Select, most people in WWE recognized that the debut did not meet their expectations; however, Danhausen remained unfazed by the situation and handled it well. The report further indicated that those interviewed within WWE are pleased with how Danhausen has managed to turn things around since that initial debut.

Danhausen has appeared on several episodes of RAW and SmackDown, where he has famously cursed Dominik Mysterio and El Grand Americano in back-to-back episodes of RAW. Additionally, he appeared on last week’s SmackDown, where Nick Aldis pushed him onto The Miz. It has been reported that Danhausen is internally listed as a free agent and is not yet assigned to a specific brand.
